Fullerton Friends of Music, along with Sunny Hills High School and the Fullerton Union High School District present the third concert in its 51st year of fine music.  The Tilden Trio was formed in 2004 by Julliard classmates. Citizens are invited to have a ‘Conversation with your City’, a special program series presented by Fullerton City Councilwoman Sharon Quirk-Silva.The programs will be held the last Thursday of the month, starting February 25. All programs will begin at 7:30 p.m., and will be held at the Fullerton Museum Center, 301 N. Pomona Ave., one block east of Harbor Boulevard, in downtown Fullerton. Guest speaker at the February 25 meeting will be Fullerton Police Chief Michael Sellers, who will discuss the potential dangers posed to children by the Internet. The Cypress Public Works Department will begin work on its 2009-10 Overlay Project in mid-November.  This project will construct a 2” rubberized asphalt overlay on arterial and business park streets. Work will also be done to repair concrete sidewalks, curb and gutters, and ADA curb ramps.  The construction  is scheduled to be completed in February 2010.  For more information about this project, please call the Public Works Department at (714) 229-6740.

The community international folk dance group, Veselo Selo, holds dances every Saturday night, from 7:30-10:30pm with line, circle and couple dances from countries all over the world.
